The Unbroken Thread: The Bible as One Unified Story

The Bible is often read in fragments—but it was written as one story. Across 66 books and more than 1,500 years, Scripture unfolds a single narrative of creation, brokenness, redemption, and hope. This teaching helps you see the Bible not as isolated passages, but as one coherent story that reveals God’s purpose for the world—and for us.

The Unbroken Thread: The Bible as One Unified Story

Many people approach the Bible as a rulebook, a moral guide, or a collection of disconnected stories. Yet when read as a whole, the Bible tells one unified story centred on God’s desire to restore what was broken.

This teaching walks through the Bible’s overarching narrative in four movements:

  • Creation – A good world, created by a good God, with humanity made in His image.
  • The Fall – Humanity’s choice to define good and evil on its own terms, leading to brokenness and separation.
  • Redemption – God’s long rescue plan unfolds through promises, covenants, and ultimately Jesus Christ.
  • Restoration – The story ends where it began: a renewed creation where God dwells with His people.

Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or revisiting Scripture with fresh eyes, this teaching is an invitation to encounter the Bible as a story that still speaks—offering meaning, hope, and direction today.
